Changes and solutions will not happen overnight. It takes the work of many to change the opinions of those set against alternate options for housing in northeast Wisconsin. Below are a few ways you can help raise awareness of the housing crisis that faces our region.

  • Spread awareness: Share the “Say Yes to Housing!” campaign’s Facebook/Instagram posts and YouTube video (coming soon) on your social media platforms. By increasing the reach of these messages, you can help educate your friends, family, and followers about the severity of the housing shortage and the challenges it presents.
  • Engage on social media: Positively interact with the Housing Now Coalition’s social media posts by liking, commenting and sharing. Engaging with the content will help amplify its visibility and potentially reach a larger audience.
  • Explore the website: Review the Housing Now Coalition’s website for housing data updates, recent studies, and other resources. By familiarizing yourself with the information provided, you’ll be better equipped to discuss the housing crisis with others and advocate for change.
  • Use talking points: Utilize the talking points provided to have informed conversations with friends, family, and community members about the housing crisis. This can help dispel misconceptions and generate support for housing initiatives.
  • Contact local representatives: Reach out to your local elected officials and express your support for changes in local regulations that promote more housing diversity and affordability.
